About the role
As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report access concerns or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with site contacts, employees, and emergency responders.
Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
