Security Officer Part Time Credential Issuance Driver

About the role
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor visitor activity to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
- Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders regarding access-related questions, directions, and incidents.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, access points, and surrounding perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Day shift: Saturday 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
- Day shift: Sunday 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
