About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic campus location where you will help manage access points, verify credentials, and support students, staff, and visitors with professional communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials, and assisting students, staff, visitors, and contractors at designated entry points.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, document visitor activity, and report unusual or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting campus partners and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify security-related concerns and/or maintenance issues that may need attention.
• Complete required logs, reports, and communication updates related to access activity, incidents, and security-related observations while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
