As a Part-Time Security Officer focused on badge enrollment and access control at a logistics and distribution location in Monmouth Junction, NJ, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and employee access, and respond to security-related concerns while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for entry and exit.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records, and communicate access concerns or irregularities to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Alarm panel experience (preferred).

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.68 per hour

Schedule

Part-time. Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
