Security Officer Part Time Clinical

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. This unarmed patrol role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents, and providing compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security concerns, support a welcoming environment, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and reporting of unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of security-related experience.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Guard card.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• At least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding licensing and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
