Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Assist with visitor access, directions, and adherence to facility entry procedures, maintaining a professional and compassionate presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour
• Schedule: DayTime Wed 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Thur 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
