About the Role

As a Security Officer Part Time Clearance Required Patrol in HERNDON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. This role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, supporting access control activities, and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be part of a dynamic team that values professionalism, clear communication, and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, building perimeters, entrances, parking areas, and other assigned locations to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, supporting authorized entry to restricted business areas.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Licensing requirements may apply based on state/local laws.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Preferred: Customer service experience, access control experience, CPR Certification.

Pay

Pay Rate: $24.37 / Hour

Schedule

Part-Time Schedule:
Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
