Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or other items entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Use computer or tablet tools as needed.
• Communicate professionally with employees and guests.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Part‑time schedule: Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
