As an Access Control Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while supporting site procedures and documenting activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help to deter unauthorized entry into manufacturing and industrial areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, the facility perimeter, parking areas, and designated operational areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document observations, access-control activity, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Schedule: Saturday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sunday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
