About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic retail distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and employee access, and maintain a professional presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Use your customer service and communication skills to support daily operations while contributing to an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, drivers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, processing visitors, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with established distribution center procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution center, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monday: 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
