You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Using clear communication and a people-first approach, you will help maintain a secure environment while working with a reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitor and contractor arrivals and departures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and oncoming personnel.

Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+
