Security Officer - Part Time

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer with sharp observation skills and attention to detail to monitor security systems and ensure safety in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

About the role

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will spot threats before they escalate, document incidents, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (additional training can be obtained during hiring)
• Customer Service or Front Desk experience
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology

Preferred: Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $22.25 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-Time Day Shifts:
• 6:00am–2:30pm, Saturday–Sunday
• 6:00am–2:00pm Saturday & 2:00pm–10:30pm Monday
