Security Officer (Part-time)

About the role

This role supports the daily security operations of a commercial office building and plays an important part in creating a safe, welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in operating the security control room and associated systems.
• Continuously monitor emergency communications and life safety equipment.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of incidents, activities, and after-hours access.
• Deliver a professional and positive experience when interacting with tenants, clients, and visitors.
• Successfully clear our pre-employment process (background check and drug screening).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in customer service and security environments.
• Current California BSIS Guard Card.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, or the ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• The physical capability to remain on your feet for extended periods, perform patrols, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating security systems including cameras, access control (C-Cure), fire alarms, intercoms, radios, and more.

Pay

$19.43/hr - $21/hr
