Security Officer - Part-Time

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate company patrol vehicles while completing assigned patrol routes.
• Conduct scheduled inspections of apartment buildings, parking lots, garages, and common areas.
• Check exterior doors, gates, perimeter fencing, and other designated access points.
• Help maintain a visible security presence throughout assigned communities.
• Observe for unauthorized activity, property damage, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Perform both interior and exterior patrols of residential properties.
• Identify unusual conditions and report concerns promptly.
• Aid in maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors, contractors, and property management.
• Follow site-specific post orders and patrol procedures during every shift.
• Respond appropriately to security-related situations within company guidelines.
• Document observations, incidents, and operational concerns accurately.
• Notify supervisors of situations requiring additional assistance.
• Exercise sound judgment while working independently in the field.
• Complete clear, detailed, and accurate daily activity reports.
• Prepare professional incident documentation using company reporting platforms.
• Utilize mobile devices and security software to receive assignments, complete reports, and communicate with supervisors.
• Maintain accurate electronic records throughout each shift.
• Interact professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and property staff.
• Provide courteous customer service while maintaining established security procedures.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch and field leadership.
• Always represent Citadel Security USA in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle for travel to assigned work locations.
• Ability to safely operate company patrol vehicles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
• Ability to learn and effectively use company software applications.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
