Security Officer - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, warehouses, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or property concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for staff, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, helping to support authorized access and following post orders related to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Communicate with supervisors, site representatives, and/or local responders as needed while completing routine reports, shift logs, and other security-related documentation.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
