Security Officer Part Time

As a Security Officer Part Time Admissions in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor screening protocols, and/or security-related policies at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for operational concerns, restricted area access issues, and/or conditions that could impact daily activities.

Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Comfortable using computers or tablets.
• Customer service experience.
