About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. This is a driving unarmed role where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming, secure environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies, verifying credentials and directing visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
