Security Officer Part Time Asset Protection

About the Role

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part‑Time Security Officer for Asset Protection in Roseville, MI. You will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting, providing a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location, greet and direct visitors, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment for healthcare operations.
• Document incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements required by state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.00 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Wednesday 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Thursday 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
