About the role
As a Part-Time Security Officer (Arrival Assessment) in Vance, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as automotive manufacturing. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Screener, you will support a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring access points, screening visitors, verifying badges, and documenting activity using computer or tablet systems.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Monday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
- Tuesday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
- Wednesday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and deliveries entering or leaving the automotive manufacturing location in accordance with established access-control procedures.
- Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation; direct authorized persons to appropriate entry points or reception areas.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, vehicle staging areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
- Access control and badge experience (preferred).
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
