Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable protocols and notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and activity throughout the location to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
