Security Officer Part Time Armed Driver

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store management and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Pay

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour
