About the role
As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related events, manage access control activity, and support alarm panel operations. You will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment through clear communication, strong customer service, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications, including receiving calls, documenting incidents, and relaying information to appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor or vendor activity records, and other required documentation.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns to site leadership.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Pay
$23.18 / Hour
Schedule
- Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
