As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately through required reports, logs, and/or electronic reporting systems.
Requirements
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Have at least two years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
