What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, unusual conditions, or access control issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor direction, and/or support orderly movement throughout the location.
• Support staff and visitors during medical-related emergencies, alarms, and other urgent events by following post orders and communicating with supervisors, first responders, and/or facility personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
• The ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• DayTime: Tue 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
