About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm-related activity. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior workspaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and facility conditions in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activity as required.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
