Security Officer Part Time - Afternoon

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly movement throughout the location.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
