Security Officer Part Time Access Verification

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Redmond, WA, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support a welcoming, security-related environment through clear communication and teamwork while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, equipment concerns, and security-related policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$24.75 / hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
