Security Officer Part Time Access Screening

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and visitor processing activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screen authorized personnel and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive access control practices and clear communication.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and site-specific emergency response activities.
• Document visitor logs, badge activity, and incident details, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter, with duties that may vary based on the location and operational needs.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
