Security Officer Part Time Access Reporting

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, and communicate clearly while responding to site needs.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
