Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Monitor entrances, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and document deliveries and/or departures in support of security-related operations.
- Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, including production, warehouse, and parking areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and complete required logs and incident reports in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
