Security Officer Part Time Access Control Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor activity, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report irregular conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and documenting visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe shipping and receiving operations for security-related concerns, maintain awareness of restricted areas, and communicate potential issues to site leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
