Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to entry points, lobby areas, parking areas, and other sensitive locations as assigned.
- Support front lobby and/or access management functions by assisting with visitor processing, badge distribution, and communication with site contacts regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements
- Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
