Seasonal overnight Security Officer position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TX.
Pay
$14.75 per hour, plus an additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 12 AM and 8 AM.

Responsibilities
- Gate Security: Verify identification and passes to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles access the park.
- Confidentiality: Safeguard sensitive information encountered during patrols or incidents.
- Rapid Response: Respond promptly and decisively to security-related incidents within the park.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise, and comprehensive reports detailing incidents and actions taken.
- Law Enforcement Compliance: Uphold local, state, and federal laws on park property.
- Asset Protection: Safeguard company assets, property, and facilities against potential threats and illegal activities.
- Traffic Control (as required): Manage vehicular flow and ensure guest safety during peak times and special events.
- Patrol Proficiency: Conduct thorough vehicle and bike patrols throughout the park to detect and deter security threats.
- Collaborative Approach: Foster partnerships with on-duty law enforcement personnel for seamless cooperation.
- Dispatch Operations (as needed): Manage communications and resources as a dispatch operator during emergencies.
- Task Completion: Take on additional assignments delegated by management with dedication and efficiency.
- Policy Adherence: Strictly adhere to Six Flags Fiesta Texas handbook policies and park regulations.
- Perform other duties as necessary to support the park.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be available to work overnight from 12 AM to 8 AM.
- Must be a high school graduate or possess GED.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Must have a valid Texas Level 2 Security License.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods in South Texas weather.
- Must be willing and able to perform foot and bike patrols.
- Must be able to climb a 50-foot tower.
- Previous security-related experience preferred.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Safety conscious, mature, reliable, and dependable.
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including overtime, weekends, and some holidays.
Reports to the Public Safety Department Leadership.
