Security Officer- Overnight Unarmed

This full-time Security Officer position is at a TWIC-secured manufacturing site in Port Arthur, TX. The role pays $16.60 per hour with weekly pay and requires overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of security experience
• Clean driver’s license (no flags or suspensions)
• Comfortable using computers/tablets for gate access
• Experience in badging and access control
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Able to work outdoors in the elements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (qualified applicants with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws)
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
