Security Officer Overnight - Unarmed

About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location in Savannah, GA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will support access control, respond to alarms, communicate professionally, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft support areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Be at least 19 years of age for role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.00 / hour
