Security Officer Overnight Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a food and beverage location in Rockingham, NC. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food and beverage production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document entry and exit activity according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, facility hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$15.85 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
