About the role
As an unarmed Security Officer Overnight Highrise Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Hotels & Resorts. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role supports a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while assisting guests, staff, and visitors throughout the property.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel or resort location.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observed activity and reporting relevant information to site contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures, and help support a professional environment through visible presence and courteous communication.
- Observe hotel and resort operations for unusual conditions, assist with incident response as needed, and communicate with management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$21.75 per hour.

- Wednesday: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
- Thursday: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
- Friday: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
