Security Officer Overnight Driving Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Overnight Driving Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help identify potential concerns and report security-related issues.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, assisting with visitor processing, and following site-specific access procedures.
- Support daily operations by observing for environmental and operational irregularities, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with orderly movement throughout the location.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
