About the role

As a Security Officer Overnight Driver in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Security Officer at a retail distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue badges, and document access activity using computer or tablet systems. Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with associates and visitors while helping maintain a secure environment. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal policy.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tue 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Wed 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Thur 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Sat 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a retail distribution location, verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery or vendor access in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access logs and related documentation for visitors, contractors, deliveries, and incidents, reporting unusual activity through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, exterior areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
