Security Officer Overnight Bank Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Assist with maintaining a professional, orderly environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting business continuity during incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
