About the role
Responsible for providing security services at Publix Super Markets, Inc. in Atlanta. Ensures the safety and security of the store and its customers.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas of the store to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents as required, including but not limited to theft, accidents, and natural disasters.
- Interact with customers and employees to provide assistance and maintain a positive store environment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on security equipment and facilities.
- Document all activities and incidents in accordance with company policy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Previous security experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Physical fitness and stamina.
- Ability to operate security equipment.
Skills
- Knowledge of security protocols and practices.
- Basic computer literacy.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
