Security Officer, Overnight
About the role
This job is all about how you react, or just as important, don’t react, in a crisis. It’s about staying a step (or five) ahead of potentially dangerous situations, identifying them and managing them with professionalism, reasonable thinking and in accordance with our policies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of the hotel’s guests, associates and assets
- Identify and manage potential dangers professionally and reasonably
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Stay calm under pressure
- Meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
Requirements
- Passionate about safety and security
- Similar work experience
- A post-secondary diploma, degree or industry-related certifications (a plus)
- Experience in safety and security operations
- Detail-oriented
- Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
