Security Officer - Overnight

Primary Purpose

Responsible for facilitating a safe working environment for employees. Guard the personnel and property of Mountaire Farms against fire, theft, damage and destruction, pilferage, and/or malicious injury.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Protecting Mountaire Farms personnel and property, including patrolling areas from a fixed station, on foot or by vehicle.
• Control authorized access to company buildings and company property.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations that may require working long hours and additional days as assigned by the Security and Plant Services Manager or his/her designee.
• Must be able to work in all elements of weather and temperatures, walk and stand for extended periods of time (up to 2-3 hours at a time).

About the Role

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or relevant military experience. An acceptable driving record and the ability to meet Mountaire Farms' requirements to operate a Company vehicle are also required. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
