This position is considered a Safety Sensitive Position.
Schedule
Requires morning, afternoon, evening, and night shifts, Monday through Sunday, including meetings, training, and special events. Requests for specific days off require advance notification and supervisor approval.
Responsibilities
- Provide security escort during movement of all money transactions.
- Maintain a secure presence in all areas of money distribution or where any currency or negotiable item transaction occurs.
- Supervise and maintain an orderly internal and external crowd control environment.
- Maintain constant surveillance of all exterior premises to ensure security.
- Direct and organize all traffic and parking functions.
- Investigate customer incidents with supervisor assistance and complete incident reports.
- Investigate policy violations with supervisor assistance and complete incident reports.
- Represent the casino in a courteous and professional manner while interacting with customers, vendors, and employees to ensure STAR Treatment at all times.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures of the Security Department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Physical Requirements
- Stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with a lunch break.
- Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting, and pulling.
- Move objects up to and exceeding 25 lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
- Exposure to extreme hot and cold weather conditions in a casino environment.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must maintain a valid Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License.
- Computer literate with basic verbal and written communication skills.
Criteria for Gaming License Disqualification
- Felonies: Absolutely no felonies within the past ten (10) years.
- Misdemeanors:
- Theft/Fraud within two (2) years: AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION.
- Domestic Abuse/Assault and Battery within two (2) years: AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION (unless applicant can provide proof of attendance in a treatment program).
- Drug/Alcohol Related Offenses within two (2) years: AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION (unless applicant can provide proof of attendance in a treatment program).
