As a Security Officer Overnight in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors and personnel, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting site operations through clear communication and professionalism. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and belongings in accordance with site access requirements and established screening procedures.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, and access credentials; maintain accurate visitor and screening-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly report observations through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
