Security Officer Office Patrol Driver

About the role

Award-winning Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Riverhead, NY. This position serves and safeguards clients in various industries including Education.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence during arrival, dismissal, breaks, and special events, while assisting with security-related concerns in accordance with post orders.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Applicants must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
