As a Security Officer Office Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a prestigious financial institution location as a Front Desk professional, serving as the first point of contact for guests, employees, and visitors. In this welcoming, stationary role, you will help support security-related operations through access control, communication, and customer service while reflecting a caring, reliable, and professional presence.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related protocols for a financial institution location.
• Monitor lobby activity, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with employees, visitors, and emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Answer questions, provide directions, receive deliveries, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
