Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and secure environment for Norton Healthcare properties, patients, employees, and visitors
- Respond to emergency situations
- Patrol assigned areas
- Escort and transport patients
- Maintain records and reports
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the department
- Drive Norton Healthcare vehicles, which may include transporting patients and visitors
Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driver’s License (required)
- One year in security, law enforcement, or military (desired)
- Certified Healthcare Security Officer (desired)
