Job Description

As a Security Officer X Ray Inspection in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will operate screening equipment, monitor access points, and help identify potential security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and support a welcoming environment while helping to protect people, property, and operations.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related screening protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or other authorized items in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
Monitor screening equipment and access points, report irregularities, and document activities according to site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, operational spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
