About the Role
Episcopal Health Services Inc. (EHS) is a health system located on the Rockaway Peninsula in Queens, New York. EHS provides inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care to the diverse populations of the Rockaways, Five Towns, South Nassau, and beyond. The system offers comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, and rehabilitative services to people of all faiths.
Responsibilities
- Police hospital facilities
- Provide security checks at front entrance
- Detain and question individuals
- Respond to fire alerts
- Monitor Close Circuit TV
- Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather
Requirements
- Previous law enforcement experience preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- N.Y.S. Security Officer License
- Current 8 Hour Annual Security Guard Training Certificate
- Initial 16 Hour on the Job Security Guard Training Certificate
- N.Y.S. Drivers License
- BCLS via American Heart Association
- Knowledge of CCTV and Radio
Pay
$31.24 per hour
Schedule
Full-Time (75 hours biweekly), Nights, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
